Verification at AIST and Ritsumeikan University

Audio analysis conducted by AIST showed that applying AdPower Sonic to speakers tends to increase IACC, an indicator related to sound clarity and localization.

Additionally, reverberation analysis performed by Ritsumeikan University found extended reverberation in the low-frequency range (250–500 Hz), while the lowest band (125 Hz) showed a shorter decay.

These results suggest audible improvements such as tighter bass and more precise sound imaging.

My concerns about the length of bass-reflex port and the delay in low frequencies due to DSP sound adjustment, but by using this product I no longer feel its delay in low frequencies and the treble extension has improved accordingly. Also, the sound has become clearer in general.

I use high-resolution monitor speakers, but using this product its resolution has been further improved. To control low frequency range, I used a subwoofer before because my speaker is high-resolution. But now the balance has become good, so I don't need it.

It all started by the encounter with an acoustic engineer.

AdPower improves airflow in car and motorbike engines, and AdPower Sonic was born after meeting Mr. Morimoto, a chief recording engineer at avex inc. and a long-time AdPower fan.

The project started when Mr. Morimoto asked if AdPower could be adapted for acoustic use. After attaching the car version to a studio speaker’s bass-reflex port and hearing the dramatic improvement in sound quality, the idea for AdPower Sonic took shape.
